Shrimp spine orchid is mainly distributed in southwestern Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, northern Guangdong, Hunan, Hubei, and Guizhou in China. Shrimp spine orchid is relatively cold resistant, tolerant to semi shade but not drought, and prefers warmth and humidity.
